"Arrecife" is a project carried out during the residency at "Residency art project"
It is a work that shows the organic forms that exist in the aquatic landscape where the residence is located.
The main idea comes from seeing how Playa del Carmen is a city with a lot of demand for construction, crowded by foreigners and that its landscape is changing at a disproportionate rate.
I was interested in working with particularly discarded building materials to "create" mutating reef forms.
